NATIONAL LEVEL NGO

IETD is a national level NGO and it undertakes various educational and developmental activities within the country and outside.

MENTOR UNDER NEHRU YUVA KENDRA.

The IETD is working as a mentor organization by Nehru Yuvak Kendra, which is a national organization formed under Central Government. In order to promote youth clubs and strengthen its activities the mentor organization takes the lead. Capacity building for youth club members, infrastructure development for youth clubs , promotion of Jack fruits and other edible food items, Promotion of Digital Library, New age Banking literacy etc are undertaken as part of its developmental activity.

ABACUS ACADEMY:

In order to help in the mind power growth of children the society promoted ABACUS ACADEMY. The IETD championed the cause of formation of 820 ABACUS Training academy at different location within the country and through which about 36400 students have so far been trained. DIGITAL LIBRARY:

Digital library consist of biographies of different personalities Known all over the world. It consist of 100 educational CDs (documentary) of different scientist, national and international leaders, renowned personalities such as Isaac Newton, Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, and novelist and renowned writers and poets. The importance of Digital library is that it shows a new way of learning by seeing and viewing rather than reading, which will be both informative and entertaining. The capacity to remember the same is enhanced multifold compared to learning by reading.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING CENTER:

The organization promotes an ITC which is affiliated to the Technical Education Department, Government of Kerala offering various ENGINEERING courses such as CIVIL, ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONIC, AUTOMOBILE, MECHANICAL, AIR CONDITIONAING AND REFREGERATION COURSES. Every year about 400 students are trained and placed on Job. In addition IT Training centers and Skill Development Centers also functions under IETD. From all these training centers hundreds of students pass out each year and are given placemnt assistance.

NATURE CONSERVATION:

Nature conservation is one of the important activity of IETD. The society promotes Nature clubs, and each year the society undertakes nature camps at different wild life sanctuaries in Kerala. In addition the society is in the forefront to organize campaign against plastic and eradication of its use. The society also works for a carbon free world, as part of its environmental concern. The society also participated in Energy conservation and management.

KUDUMBASREE SKILL TRAINING CENTER:

IETD is a Skill Training Agency under Kudumbasree Mission. The society undertakes numerous skill training programs, Assist in the formation of Micro enterprises, organize and conduct training programs for Gram Panchayaths , Kudumbasree and Local self government bodies. IETD conducts training programs in the field of Rexene Bag Making, Paper Bag Making, Leather Bag Making, Driving, Electrical and Electronics, Garments Making, IT and Computer, Hospitality, Bakery production, Soap and Detergent making, Civil And Building Construction etc about 100 different skill training programs are undertaken each year by IETD. The training courses will be both residential and Non-residential programs depending on the nature and content of the course. NORKA ROOTS TRAINING CENTER:
